At Cincinnati Therapeutic Riding and Horsemanship, we believe in the potential of all people. Everyone has the right to experience similar activities as their neuro-typical and physical-typical peers. They have a right to hope and empowerment.
Your partnership provides this hope and empowerment through equine-assisted services. These services address physical, cognitive or emotional needs through rewarding interactions. The unconditional love of a horse has proven to reduce anxiety, encourage engagement and offer a haven where participants can feel a sense of empowerment and independence.
Experiencing the rhythmic motion of a horse can be greatly beneficial. Riding a horse moves the rider’s body in a manner similar to the human gait, allowing riders with physical needs to improve their flexibility, balance and muscle strength. For individuals with emotional and social challenges, the unique relationship formed with a horse can lead to increased confidence, patience and self-esteem.
Your partnership will help alleviate the financial burden often faced by families impacted by special needs. This allows our clients to focus on the benefits of equine assisted services.
